Great food, outstanding service, and quiet dining. Very nice for a dinner with business associates.

Absolutely wonderful the minute you step in the door! It was our 30th anniversary and they made it wonderful!

We lived in the Tri-Valley region for 14 years and had always wanted to visit this restaurant. Surprisingly, it was quite quiet for a Friday night, but we had a great time sitting in the room with live piano music. The staff seemed a bit concerned about the low turnout. We took advantage of a deal that included an appetizer (fried artichokes) and a bottle of wine. We really enjoyed the artichokes. Next, we had a wedge salad (my favorite) followed by a platter that included filet mignon, shrimp, chicken, and crab, accompanied by a side of potatoes and rice. For dessert, we had a brownie with ice cream, but it was a bit hard. The server kindly suggested we try the bread pudding (coconut/rum) instead. The staff recommended checking out the live music on Thursday evenings. They also have a happy hour for those watching their budget.

The experience was quite underwhelming. We started at the bar, where the bartender promised us blue cheese olives for our martinis, but conveniently forgot them while we were drinking. A few patrons tried ordering Old Fashioneds, but that was a no-go as they had run out of bitters. When we switched to Manhattans, what we received was essentially whiskey and Coke instead. Overall, the service was sluggish. The staff was friendly, but speed seemed to be of little concern to them. Dinner was mediocre. The steaks were acceptable, but I rarely order American Wagyu medium, and when I did, it arrived well past medium and lacked flavor. Others in our group seemed to enjoy their steaks, but in the end, it just didn’t justify the $100 per person price tag. We won’t be returning.
