The Farmhouse Cafe

This cafe is truly a hidden gem, especially given its location! Thank you for bringing this wonderful spot to Long Mile Road. It has a warm, inviting atmosphere reminiscent of ‘Cheers,’ where it feels like everyone knows your name. We visit regularly and love everything about it—the food, coffee, service, and the lively ambiance. The menu has a great variety of sandwiches, salads, and hot dishes. The BELT sandwich alone is worth a visit, but the CELT (a BELT with cheese instead of bacon) is even better! They also now bake fresh bread on-site… we are truly spoiled!

I can't recommend this place highly enough. Everything is homemade and always served with a smile. I absolutely love the jalapeño chicken sandwich on fresh sourdough, and I can never pass up the homemade apple pie with cream. We also stock up on takeaway brownies and zucchini bread to enjoy at home! This place is truly a must-visit.

This is an incredible restaurant with delightful home-cooked meals that are fresh and varied each day. The bread they prepare is absolutely fantastic. What sets it apart even more is the friendly staff, creating a perfect atmosphere to take a break, unwind, and recharge for a few moments. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

This place is wonderful! Fresh ingredients with a menu of home-made sandwiches and soups. Also proper tea and coffee, beautiful crockery, friendly service, cosy atmosphere and the best chocolate brownies ever!!!

Hidden Gem. Very nice staff. Nice simple interior. Amazing food. Farm fresh. You can really taste the difference. Well worth a visit and well priced�
