Maldron Kevin Street

We stayed here for three seperate occasions during May, July and September. Each time we stayed, we were impressed with the standard of the hotel and friendliness of the staff. The rooms and more importantly beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and a good selection in the bar. We were looked after at Breakfast by Mia, who always made us feel so welcome. We will definitely stay here again whenever we visit Dublin Rooms: 5

Great location to amenities and central sites. Walking distance everywhere. Room was average. Some issues with communication but resolved with the manager, Andrew, and appreciated his understanding and communication. He recommended booking directly with the hotel for cheaper rates as we went through a third party booking site. Rooms: Triple bedroom a bit tight but did its job for a quick stay. Include conditoner/shampoo and body wash. Extra towels on request. Coffee tea facilities. No fridge. Open concept shower so floor usually wet after use. Nearby activities: Dublin express nearby to airport Spar for basic amenities if required 5 min away walking distance Walkability: 15 20 min walk to trinity college 10 min walk to Dublin castle or fade street Food drinks: Lots of choices for nearby cafes

The hotel was nice and modern and the room couldn’t be faulted. Everything was perfect with a lovely big bathroom. There were a couple of things we weren’t impressed with. Why on earth would b cleaners be hoovering outside our room before 8 in the morning. This woke us and was very annoying. Another thing was we asked for a late check out and were told that was fine and it would be €10 for each hour we stayed extra which was fine. But we then got a phone call from reception to tell us checkout was 11am and we had to leave the room!! Then someone else from reception called to our room to tell us checkout was at 11!!! This was extremely annoying!!

Great location and service! We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms: The beds were twin size but pushed together to form one bed which was less than ideal. Nearby activities: Camden Street, St Patrick's Cathedral, bars, restaurants, etc. are only a couple blocks away. Guinness and Jameson are a little further but still a quick walk. Walkability: Loved how close everything was! Rooms: 4
