There were only about four tables occupied so not busy by any means. After over half an hour with no sign of the food and time rapidly running out I approached the waitress who took the order, who was busy chatting to her colleagues, to ask how much longer we would have to wait. Having returned to my table she came over a minute or two later to tell us the order had gone astray and could we just tell her again what we wanted! At this stage we were out of time and too annoyed to wait a minute longer. What made it worse was she proceeded to blame two new staff members, refusing to accept any responsibility herself. When I pointed out she took the order and given the very small number of people in the restaurant I'd have thought she would notice we hadn't been served, if she weren't so busy conversing with her colleagues, she continued to deny any responsibility or offer any sincere apologies. Perhaps if she'd been genuinely sorry or even allowed us the drinks, an orange juice and a coffee so hardly a kings ransom, as a complimentary apology for ruining our evening I might feel less agreived and more charitable with my review but basically they did not care. I dread to think what service would be like if they were actually busy.
Had a late lunch here on Father's day. My dad really enjoyed the food. We ordered their crispy squids, seekh kebab and tandoori chicken for starters followed by biryani and king prawn molle for mains, it was absolutely delicious. The toblerone cheesecake was yum but the banoffee could have been slightly better, especially the base was very crumbly.
The food was so good that I forgot to take a picture. Not sure why this restaurant is mostly quiet during the week. It's a superb space, nicely decorated, reasonably priced and with an excellent food offering. The portions are well served and the veggie starters are to die for. I'd highly recommend a visit.
It was a okay okay place. The food was to cater the Irish audience. Taste was not Indianish. We had malai kofta, chiken tikka masala, Garlic nan and chicken biryani. For starters we ordered samosa which was a bit disappointing too as they were not the Indian samosa but Frozen samosa. Could have been better.
The staff was very nice and pleasant. The restaurant was very nice and comfy, but the food was average.
