Nice setting, friendly wait staff, tasty and authentic dishes. The only drawback, we had a long wait for our food, and it was not at all busy at the time we were there (around 7 pm). We were not in a hurry but that long delay changed my overall rating from a 5 to a 4. But, I do recommend the place, esp if you are looking for a different setting a bit away from the hubbub of that area.
Will surely be back. Worth every penny. No other words than — TASTY! My friend had the pastry chicken (forgot what it’s called). He paid twenty but was happy with it. Personally, I’m glad I have gotten a tajine! I’m going back to eat the lamb as I had the chicken. I’m excited to try more food from this place.
This was a random find and one of those real hidden gems that a random wander often draws you to. The food was great, the wine list well considered and the staff friendly and helpful. Well worthy of a visit.
I used to love this restaurant! Unfortunately I had a pretty bad experience last week, I ordered a tajine which was very watery as a moroccan I know that a tajine should not be watery. Well, I told the waitress and she told me that Tajine can also be eaten drinken as a soup!!!! My god, this waitress has to know a bit about the cuisine she is serving.
Quite overpriced, reduced number of choices if you compare with other Moroccan restaurants in Dublin. Nice atmosphere thought. The food was good, a shame the waitress was rude since minute one, we arrived a bit before 9 and she was definitely annoyed even though we had a reservation. Not a single smile in all the dinner, they turned off the music before 10 PM because they wanted to go home as soon as possible, so we had to swallow the rest of our bottle of wine and leave. Definitely not repeating.
