Contribuiți la feedbackAte at kinara catering last weekend at Bloom. We could see the Chefs preparing food and it looked really good so we decided to order the vegetarian option. Big mistake. It was probably the most visually un-appealing food I have ever seen. But we gave it a go, both of us had one bite and that was it. Disgusting is the only word I can use to describe the bowls of congealed, overcooked, under flavoured mush we were served. Brought it straight back and told them it was inedible. But hey, no worries cos 15 minutes later the manager ?j approached us, no, not to apologise but to tell us that he had eaten it himself and it was perfect, flavoured perfectly, nicely spiced, and if we didn’t like it it must be because of an issue with our “palate…”. Great customer service, not. Anyway, will post a photo of the “meal” we had and see what other readers think….As they say, a picture paints a thousand words and this one certainly does.
I went into Kinara Kitchen for a main course and ordered Tandoori Khas. What I received would have been considered as a starter in some other Indian/Pakistani restaurants. Apart from a variety of sauce/chutney splashes along the bottom half of the (cold) tile that the food was served on, the dish consisted of a small aloo tikki (potato cake), two small prawns, two McNugget-sized pieces of chicken (which weren't overly tender) and two very thin (but tasty) lamb chops. The flavour of all the food was good but, for €26.95 (without any other accompaniments) represented very poor value, IMHO. Poor value and the fact that the food was served on a cold tile and that no one enquired if my meal was OK led to an overall disappointing visit.
The food is incredibly good and tasty there, it is a real travel to India Pakistan for an evening. I would highly recommend lamb (palak gosht and garam masala lamb) as well as scallops (even though I am not sure it is really typical from India, they are wonderful). The naans are amazing as well, cooked on order and generous. Atmosphere is warm and service is perfect.
Myself and the gf had a meal on Sunday and we had such a lovely evening. The food was amazing, very good portions and the staff were just so nice and attentive. I would definitely come back again and try another of the chef's specials! The Monkfish starter is to die for! ;
Disgusting . Had take away . Order no 4036 my wife’s Chicken dish was totally dried out . My lamb was dry and tasted more like rubber than food . What really annoyed me most is that my lamb had no rice with it. I rang to ask if there was a mistake . I was told , extremely unsympathetically that the mains did not come with rice . Fine . Do you not think someone would tell me when I ordered . ?? Clearly I was totally in the wrong . Bottom line .. won’t be ordering this overpriced rubbish again .Really scored an own goal with your attitude on the phone guys . You have my phone no .
