The Chop House Gastro Pub - Dublin

I arrived at the restaurant on Friday night at 7 without a reservation. I had originally intended to go to another restaurant, but they were fully booked. I was lucky to find a table available at this restaurant.

Our second dinner in Dublin was just as fantastic as the first. We got lost twice with the taxi driver, but enjoyed some delicious gin-based cocktails.

The food was fantastic and our server Daniel was attentive. The gnocchi appetizer was delicious and the pork dish was amazing.

However, there were some downsides that affected my overall experience. The furniture was cheap and we were cramped at a table meant for four people with six of us. The atmosphere was busy with loud music and the service was average. It felt more like a pub than an expensive restaurant. If the prices were slightly lower, it would have been more acceptable. In conclusion, the food was excellent but improvements are needed to match the high prices.

Since it was our final night of our vacation, we wanted to end it on a high note and boy, did we succeed! It was the best meal we had in Dublin. The staff was outstanding, the food was incredible, and the beer was top-notch. We will definitely be returning!
