Contribuiți la feedbackAbsolutely spectacular meal, very friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The meals are well portioned, expertly presented and taste delicious. I had the steak, my partner had the risotto and both were fantastic. I couldn’t possibly praise this place more.
Surprisingly despite knowing of Sova for quite a few years, we only managed to visit it this week. On arrival we were seated upstairs as downstairs was already quite full. The condition and decor upstairs was quite poor. It definitely needs a clean on the walls and some paint. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout which was good. We were a bit disappointed that there were no drink options other than tap water. They did offer corkage for byob but having some non-alcoholic drinks would have been nice. The menu was short but a few options for each course at least. The starters were nice and well presented. Good portion size. The mains (seitan steak) were also presented well but portions were small and it was lacking in flavour. For desert, we had a chocolate roulade and apple pie. The roulade looked well but was quite bland. The apple pie was OK. Overall we agreed that the food was presented well, somewhat overpriced for the portion sizes, quite bland tasting, and the restaurant needs a freshen up. Impression was that not much has been done since they opened and other new restaurants have come since which surpass them. If you care about how your food looks in pictures, this is the place. Aside from that, there are better options in the city.8
Really fun place with lovely and warm service I didn't have a reservation and yet they managed to find me a spot. The seitan was great but a bit dry so I informed the waiter and they gave me the meal for free! It was a bit small and quite pricey. Then I tried the gryos salad which was quite a big portion and it was great! The beet soup was excellent! Great vegan place to try in Dublin!
The food was incredible, the portions were generous, and the service was top-notch with welcoming, friendly, and talkative staff. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family. It's a must-visit for both vegans and non-vegans.
We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and the dinner menu had a great variety of delicious vegan options, such as steak, risotto, and pasta. It seems that the kebab and gyros mentioned in previous comments are only offered during lunch, so I recommend coming back in the evening. We brought our own wine and were charged a corkage fee of 6€. Overall, this is a very charming little restaurant that I would highly recommend.
