Contribuiți la feedbackThis has been my favourite place to eat Japanese food since moving to Dublin. I grew up in Hong Kong and lived in japan last year, so I need my fix of authentic Japanese food. This restaurant is small and simple does not really focus on the decor and ambience and is more focused on the food. I love that it’s not pretentious in that way. There is great service and food always comes quickly. I also think the price of food is fair and I always leave satisfied with my meal, although the portions are slightly small so I usually order a few things. Some of my favourites are the marinated tuna bowl, salmon sashimi and gyoza. I also get their bento boxes regularly and like that there’s always a bit of variation. Love this place!
Too many Japanese restaurants outside Japan put on a show for people whose only image of Japan is from a screen. Nothing to do with reality. Real Japanese is what this Japansese Kitchen is all about. The name gives it away. It is the kind of place people in Japan drop in to on the way home from work. It is the secret every person wants to bring you to because it is so simple and authentic. This is unpretentious, simple, full of flavour and real value.
A blink of an eye and you can miss this little restaurant. We had a 10 minute wait for our table. Once we got in, we realized it has very limited seating. Our first Japanese dinner in Dublin. Felt that the food is mediocre. Nothing to rave about. We had better sushi dinners in the states.
Very delish sushi spot in central area. Best I've had in Dublin! Was recommended by a Japanese national coworker as a spot with Japanese sushi chef. I've been 3 times thus far and will keep coming back!
I have been to japan and i have to say it’s authentic, lovely staff, great bunch of lads. good prices too.
