Lord Mayor's Lounge - Dublin

I had a wonderful Afternoon Tea experience at the Lord Mayor's Lounge last Friday. The food was incredibly delicious and the room was beautifully decorated. The comfortable high back chairs made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. Anna, our server, was kind and attentive, constantly refilling our teas and offering more tasty sandwiches. The sandwiches were fresh and flavorful, especially the mini chicken rolls. The desserts were like pieces of art and there was a great selection of teas to choose from. The atmosphere was fantastic and all the young ladies taking care of the guests were friendly, pleasant, and attentive. This was my third time having Afternoon Tea at the Shelbourne and it was the best one yet. I couldn't find any faults. I even decided to book our Christmas visit while I was there. Thank you to Magdalena for organizing everything and to the very nice young man who checked on our experience. Make sure to book in advance and come enjoy this amazing experience. The traditional tea service at this restaurant is fantastic. With a diverse selection of tasty dishes and lovely teas, paired with exceptional service in a quaint tea room, dining here will make you feel like royalty!

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea. We were treated to delightful champagne, a selection of teas, and a wonderful variety of exquisite small sandwiches and pastries.

Afternoon tea here was a wonderful experience that far exceeded my expectations. We were given menus to review the options, which we were all OK with. They had already noted that one member of our party (me) was gluten free and provided children's menus for the kids to review. The food was excellent, beautiful, and delicious. It was so exciting to have beautiful food on par with the non-gluten-free selections. The children's tea was so exciting for them, with rainbow cake and other whimsical treats. To top it off, the service was impeccable. This was an absolute highlight of our trip to Ireland and would love to experience this again. I had no issues with the cost considering the value of the service and, while I didn't refill any of the food, that there was the option was nice.

My brother and I enjoyed afternoon tea in Lord mayor’s lounge in the shelbourne hotel. the wonderful sortiment of tee, sandwiches and sweets was impressive and the service was perfect. it was a nice afternoon, and I think that's a must-do experience in dublin.
