J2 Grill Sushi - Dublin

What a wonderful location, right on the water. Lovely views of Dublin. We ordered a special and it dis not dissapoint. Many different rolls to choose from for a great price. We could not finish the entire thing. The service was very attentive and friendly.

The food is amazing the service was even better. Highly recommended! I almost forgot about the drink because it was so tasty I finished so quickly but wow great experience!

Great service and the udon was filling with lots of salmon and tempura shrimp. I'm town for a conference and this really hit the spot and helped with jet lag.

Great location at the North Quay. Dine-in and take away available. Bento box, sushi, and standard sushi menu presented online and on laminated menus. Wanted a break from pub food somewhere close to my location-this is what I did... Food: meh--maguro wasn't as fresh as I wanted, tempura roll was ok crab bits are imitation crab folks , and gyoza was ok--small plates. Gluten-free soy available, but not on all dishes. Dessert NOT available--I came midweek, not sure if this is a regular thing or just for the day of no explanation by staff... Service: friendly staff. Requested a glass of water no ice with my hot green tea I like to cool down to drink right away . Filtered water charge €1 . Atmosphere: great location off the quay within walking distance of my hotel. Good to try somewhere close and support local venues. I'll try another sushi place next time.

Packed lunch takeaway line but moved quickly. 12 yr old and I split 12 pc mix of sushi and sashimi and it was fresh and delicious. The line for lunch appeared daunting but it moved. Success
