Comet - Dublin

We had my Granddaughter's Christening party here last week. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly. Great place to have a party.

Had a great family reunion in the Comet on the 28th August 2022. Daragh and the team couldn’t have been better. Food was superb. We sat out in the covered outdoor area. Highly recommended. Buffalo wings and Pizza’s were a highlight. Kids loved the ice-cream. We’ll be back.

Decent local pub. Always busy at the weekend, particularly when there is a match on. Not a place you'd go out of your way to head to but a decent local pub all the same.

Came here with my husband straight after work Ordered a large wings to start , then a burger and chips for my husband and I had gojons, mash and pepper sauce. The young girl was running around on her own trying to deal with the bar to get drinks, cleaning up after everyone's mess at the tables and also serving for food. No waitresses or waiters in the place only this girl. Bar staff standing around talking and not really bothered to call for help to her. Waited nearly 25 minutes for the food and it all came out together. Husband went and asked for the burger to be held back under a hot lamp due to all the food came out at once. Very busy but absolutely disgraceful how people can let a girl run around and be that busy alone. Chef came out to ask if everything was ok lovely guy but girl had started and should be giving the opportunity to be with other people on a busy evening. Lovely young girl we wish her the best

My husband and I went to the comet for some dinner absolutely amazing service and food was supreme our server Zoey was so kind and friendly and had so much time for us she even recommended us the vegetarian curry and a the fondant desert which was absolutely amazing, will definitely be back!!
