Really dissapointed with Camile Thay, used to order quite often the delivery, and today decide that never gonna order it again. Order online a dish with Prawns craker and spring rolls, when the delivery came the guy said they didnt have Prawns Craker and the spring roll no sauce , called the restaurant and they said they said wasent possible to bring it back, unbelievable this, the restaurant mistake and nothing to repair it. So you lost one client because I refuse to order from you guys again.
Getting very sick of Camile , I’ve been a loyal customer for years initially of the D8 branch Pearse st since it opened, the inconsistency of dishes is crazy, one week delicious next week awful Also seemed to have added tonnes of chili to dishes that never used to be so spicy, I sometime share with my daughter and I can’t because of the spice, when it’s not a spicy dish Also delivery times taking an hour a lot of time, when you phone there’s no apology just “ yeh it’s on the way, bye” type response Tonight’s order was over spiced took an hour to get here ... I really feel the customer service care has gone which is s big shame
The food looked good, and we decided to have lunch here. We were only 3 minutes past the early bird for lunch, and the cashier told us we had to pick from the other lunch menu. We picked our food, and my boyfriend's lunch was supposed to come with a drink. There was a trainee cleaning the counter and I asked her if i could have a protein in my fried rice as extra and she agreed, whereas the cashier then said it was not possible, same for the drink. The menu clearly said the main came with a drink but when my boyfriend went to claim, the trainee said he could get it from the fridge but then the cashier said he couldnt. I understand that she was new, and we aren't cold hearted, so we let it slide. The cashier's attitude was definitely something i have never seen here in Ireland, i have been around, yes. They are very friendly! Or maybe she was not Irish. Anyway, attitude was unexceptable. We sat on the table waiting for food, and they gave us our food in a take away, we never mentioned anything about take out. After a few minutes, a girl seated next to us was told to move to another table and so when i asked if we had to move to another table as well, she said yeh the table is reserved. It all makes sense now, they wanted the table for themselves and rushed our order so that they could have their own mini lunch gathering. They celebrated a birthday of their staff while customers were around, it was awkward because i was afraid of asking for assistance! We just got up after we ate and left. This was a very horrible experience! I feel sad for the restaurant because it is very pretty, and in a good location, however, they really need to do something about their staff. She was very rude and responded to other customers the same way she looked annoyed whenever any customer approached her and also frustrated from the trainee, who to be fair, was probably not fit for her job!
Ordered Thai Red Duck Curry sauce and rice were pleasant but the duck was very poor. Hardly any meat majority was just skin and fat. Perhaps they were coming to the end of a serving and trying to eek out stock but that was poor.
