Contribuiți la feedbackWe had a very poor experience here. We decided to go out for breakfast, and in the past have enjoyed Anderson's Creperie. However, our visit was very disappointing. My partner had a crepe, and it was just ok, not very tasty, pretty bland, in fact. I had the ham, cheese omelette. The ingredients seemed very cheap, the ham was tasteless, and actually, so was the cheese. Worst of all, the mushrooms were the small cheap button variety, which were rubbery and greasy. There was very little spinach, which was watery; overall, very unpleasant. Whilst the service was friendly, it was not very efficient. We ordered tea and coffee, but it didn't arrive until we were nearly finished our food, and it had necessitated my partner going in to remind them. It doesn't take much to get the basics right; on this occasion, the restaurant fell far short of doing this. I wouldn't recommend a visit.
We had two visits to this establishment and neither time did we walk away talking about anything great from our experience here. First time we had ordered a crepe and in my opinion it was just drowned in syrup which was okay but made the crepe almost inedible by it being soggy and falling apart. The second visit we had a breakfast with sausages and toast and egg and it was grand nothing that special but did the job that was asked of it but wasn’t completely filling in my opinion. The staff were very friendly as were quite accommodating so plaudits to them. So overall it’s a grand spot but nothing to rave about.
Very disappointing lunch experience here today with a friend. Admittedly we only had an hour as we were working, but as the restaurant was quite empty we assumed it wouldn’t be an issue. Ordered quickly and then proceeded to wait 40 minutes for 2 simple sandwiches. When we asked for a takeaway box (we had to leave as soon as it arrived) and complained about how slow it was, the guy at the till said there had been lots of orders in front of us. From what we could tell, the couple who ordered at the same time received their food about 20 minutes before us and the staff looked as if they couldn’t have been working at a slower pace if they tried. They certainly weren’t run off their feet. We got a half hearted apology on the way out the door. To make matters worse, my friend didn’t even receive the order she had placed, having specifically asked for her sandwich to be toasted. Instead she got some dry bread with a few dry ingredients on it. No sign of proper management here so we won’t be back.
We had the best good today but the tall red hair waiter manger (guy) is rude and we believe racist. He marked us feel unwelcome and unwanted. The rest of the staff were great. You have a lovely place but you need to treat all people the same with the same Humanity across your staff
Ordered two galettes here today and to say they were awful and not at all authentic, is putting it mildly. I live in Brittany, where crepes are so popular and for Andersons to offer stodgy, undercooked glattes, is sacrilege to the Breton tradition. It was a disappointing experience.
