Against The Grain - Dublin

There were 8 of us on a Saturday. Service was good and drinks were brought up to us in a timely manner. The menu is limited but it's good enough when you are meeting friends for drinks. We ordered 2 burgers and 6 pizzas. Burgers were good and tasty. As for the pizzas...First bite of my pizza I thought it was so good because I was hungry and the base is thin so it felt crunchy (which I like), second bite was harder, and third bite and so on...pizzas were very dry...all of them. They really needed a bit more tomate and mozzarella, we couldn't even tell if they had even mozzarella...it is a pity. The girls that ordered cocktails were happy with them. Decoration is nice (maybe it's a bit too dark, but it's to my taste only) and so is music. The terrace garden was cool. Overall 5,5/10, would try something else before going back.

We went here because of all the non-alcoholic brews listed on their website. In reality they had like 3-4 available and none on draft. Pick it up guys, Guinness 0.0 is on draft elsewhere in Dublin. Disappointing. The pub food is competent and in no way bad but it’s also in no way remarkable. In a town with a pub every 20 feet I think this was average.

This spot is well worth a visit, the wide ranging choice of beers is second to none, the food is good pub fare. Service was good and friendly and the background music was second to none....

Absolutely awful place, overpriced, filthy, unfriendly and inexperienced staff. Would definitely give this place a wide berth. Plenty of nice real bars close by
