We feel like we are now part of the Merne family. Sharon, Caleb and the team at Merne were all outstanding. Our experience was completely flawless from the first moment we toured the venue, to the end of our wedding day. The food is incredible, the wedding package is generous, staff are experienced and the guidance from Sharon ensured everything was thought through and there were no unexpected expenses or surprises. Merne was very generous with their inclusions, which every other venue we considered charged separately for. The venue felt welcoming and our guests could not stop talking about how much they loved the food. Although we’ll only have one wedding, we will absolutely return time and time again for lunch and dinner! Thank-you so much.

Looking for a 5 star restaurant to share a special birthday dinner with all my family, I came across Merne. Every part of the night was made great with Caleb, the host on the night. The food was some of the best we have had, beautifully presented and unforgettable flavours. My compliments to the chef and staff. I would highly recommend Merne for any special occassion. Most insincere manager to work for. Damned if you did, damned if you didn 't. God forbid if you have a food allergy and want to eat here, the amount of derogatory comments made behind customers back, about anything not just food allergies. Other staff were allowed breaks, I couldn 't imagine taking a break let alone asking for one. Kept all the tips, essentially didn 't pay a dollar for my wages but still found 'everything ' to become angry about. Perhaps they are in the wrong industry. It shows.
