The Royal Drouin

The food at this restaurant was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. The good quality food and pleasant atmosphere always make a positive impact. Booking is easy and if you arrive early, you can enjoy a peaceful dining experience. Those who arrive later can expect a livelier atmosphere. Overall, it was worth the drive. The only downfall was the staff member who seemed a bit abrupt and could improve in customer service. After some initial awkwardness, everything was fine.

We recommend making a reservation. Our 6 pm reservation ensured quick service. The seniors meal was satisfying and offered great value. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely be returning for another visit.

Went opening night after their renovation and service was pretty poor. Improved out of sight. Need to improve their ordering system, but that's the only blemish now.

Really disappointed in the newly renovated pub. Looks fantastic but that’s where it ended. Food was the worst meals ever put in front of us. Slow cooked pork ribs, chips cold, crispy onion rings soggy, bbq sauce had a solid skin over it and the ribs were so dry and tough that a knife struggled to cut them. Other meal was salmon again cold and the skin was burnt, tasted burnt and dry. Manager was too busy to speak with us. To her credit the lady that we did speak to told us not to pay for anything. Went over to the Drouin Family Hotel for a nice meal. Would not return to the Royal. Tried to not rate the food at all but had to give it one star to submit. Really not Worthing of one star.
