A great hearty menu of pies and stews. If you've been for a long hike it's the kind of pub food that will fill you and re-energise the soul. We ate there on Saturday night at 7.30pm and one table left for the 4 of us. We had Hungarian goulash, ramblers stew, Brunswick stew and steak pie and all of us enjoyed the flavours and portion size. A friendly atmosphere and efficient service.
