I think this restaurant is incredible. The food is out of this world, menu is in Italian however English is spoken.
We were spending the weekend in the Maira Valley and decided to stop for lunch on the way in Dronero. We didn’t know where to go so we asked a shop owner for recommendations. Thankfully Rosso Rubino was one of the recommendations. We didn’t have a reservation so we were happy that they had a table for us. Then we discovered that this is no ordinary restaurant and that we were in for a real treat We opted for the Menù Degustazione and were delighted by each of the four courses. The first course of slow cooked egg in a bowl of local cheese fondue and wild spinach was out of this world. The risotto alla Nino Bergese was honestly one of the best risottos we have ever eaten. The main course was veal cheeks braised in white wine and the meat was so tender you could eat it with a spoon. The chestnut soufflé for dessert was absolutely delicious. The next time we are in Dronero we will definitely return to Rosso Rubino for the impeccable service and outstanding food.
Attenzione a questo ristorante, diventerà un punto di riferimento gastronomico. elegante senza essere formale, servizio molto bene, padronanza in cucina. lo chef è un ricercatore, esperimento, è consapevole della sua tavolozza con cui dipinge piatti eccellenti. ci sono sia un menu di carne e uno di pesce, così come piatti à la carte. i prezzi sono giusti per la qualità, ottima carta di vino.
Cena alle due di sabato sera, siamo stati fantastici. veramente grandi piatti, creati con semplicità ma anche raffinatezza, e ancora più importante, un goto che difficilmente dimenticherete. Davvero perfetto. Grazie mille per la bella serata.
