Great atmosphere, not great food. We got the beef and bird (steak chicken) and the chicken Kiev. Both the chickens were rubbery over cooked and even though the steak looked medium rare, it was as tough and flavorless as a well done stake somehow.? Even the triple fried potatoes had no crisp. The Guinness was great and they had friendly waitresses with a happy atmosphere, shame the food was so dry, maybe it was a backup chef? Will say the dip that came with the beef and bird was great and made the dry meat edible.

Many thanks to Damien and all his staff for a fabulous buffet supper at our recent table quiz for The Paul Russell Foundation. Everyone attending commented on the excellent selection and quantity of food. The ladies on the bar were so helpful in every way making sure our fundraiser was a great success. We had an amazing Sunday lunch with a group of 18 at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was welcoming. It was a great experience catching up with friends and family. The meal cost between £10-£20 per person and we rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.
