Eddie Rocket's - Drogheda

Have to say very disappointed with today's visit. Staff ok but impossible to understand, food overly salty and chips not fully cooked. Over priced for what you get. Will not be in a hurry to return.

Well what can I say.. one of the WORST customer service experiences I have ever had.. qued for a table for 30 minutes which I didn't mind as I appreciate covid restrictions etc... got seated .. waitress was so so rude slamed menus on table and left us for another 30 minutes without taking our order I tried to get her attention a few times but she just ignored me.. too busy discussing another table of people with another waitress.. another waitress was texting on her phone.. there was about 6 staff members walking around not acknowledging any customers.. eventually just got up and left told one of them we were going elsewhere and she rolled her eyes at me and walked away... the place wasn't even busy.. Gobsmacked at the ignorance of the staff!!! Will definitely never visit again!!!

€10.30 for 2 milkshakes?! Stopped in for a couple of milkshakes to takeaway as a treat, and was just told the flavours available verbally by the server instead of being shown a menu. If I’d actually seen the menu with the whopping price of €5.15 a pop I probably would have swiftly changed my mind. The size was a normal medium-large size, but I would have been expecting a big cinema drink bucket size for that kind of price. Absolutely bonkers price for a milkshake. Aye, it tasted lovely, but I cannot say it was worth more than a tenner for two MILKSHAKES to takeaway! Fool on me for paying it? Probably, but I think the shock left me speechless (that’s a first! , and they were already well in the process of being shaken by the time the server figured out the till. Empty your pockets at Eddie Rockets.

I was here yesterday with my wife and teenager. Decor fairly standard attempt at American Diner look. Seemed clean. Nice view over the water. Service quite prompt and friendly. Price not bad. We had Club Sandwiches which were nice and the teenager has the chicken nuggetts and chips. The chips looked over done and my daughter didnt eat much of them. Overall not bad. My only gripe was that it was the only shop or resteraunt that the staff were not wearing disposable gloves when we are in grip of the Covid 19 crisis. Staff should have them when handeling food and money in the times that are in it.

Had one of the worst meals of my life in this place. Some of the food was burnt, some half raw and completely tasteless we didn't eat it and complained on paying we still had to pay €54 for dreadful food. Very very disappointed will never go back.
