El Rey Mexican Grill - Dripping Springs

The food was decent enough. The gravy wasn’t super flavorful. I got cheese enchiladas and a crispy taco and they were good as expected. The red salsa was pretty good but not terribly spicy. We were sat quickly but waited about 20 minutes for someone to take our order and they weren’t very busy. Food took a while to get to the table but once it was there it was all as we ordered. This place isn’t good or bad. It does the job.

Come here a lot for convenience. Plenty of seating even if they're busy.. Food is great.. Good size portions, prices and service. Hubby and I are regulars :

Surprisingly good mexican food and fresh ingredients. Margaritas were good as well. We have frequented a couple times!

Best Mexican food, especially breakfast, in Hill Country! Try it out that you love it. Migas Compruestas are the best breakfast I ever had in Austin.

Authentic style, good food. Would recommend everyone to have a place.
