Contribuiți la feedbackThis evening with friends, while they were away in dresden for a few days. this is a real hidden gem that you must visit. between the 4 of us we had 2 massive pork carvings, 1 mixed grill and 1 pork. the whole food came in good time and everyone was so satisfied with the quality and quantity of food we got. big tempo will definitely visit again. beer was also great with a good choice. far to fill after dessert.
As an American dresden we wanted to try a classic German food. this restaurant was perfect! the food was delicious and the outside seats beautiful. we can recommend both the classic sausage/cabbage/potato bowl as well as the black melodies. it is a bit outside the tourist center, but the walk is worth for great food and atmosphere.
Eating is delicious, the staff very friendly. the portions are good value for money. for one of my hoses, the part was even too much, so we ask to take away the rest. strangely, we had to pay for the box. never experienced. very strange. at least the waiter should inform in advance, or perhaps I am not yet used to have to pay for everything in Germany.
There during the austerity season' (Sparagus season) ignore places similar reviews in the old city, because I could confirm online that they serve the seasonal spargel. we had 2 of the basic asparagus dishes (with hollandaise, no meat supplement), as well as the freeprotection plate (essentially a...Fleisch-Platter). both push the place. the spargel was on par and the meat plate came with beans with were so good caramelized and tasty.
I arrived at 5:45pm on a Wednesday, didn't book and was apparently lucky to get a single seat at the bar for dinner. The two young ladies who were taking orders and serving seemed incredibly bored and disrespectful to everyone. Overheard from English-speaking tourists...who arrived after me: Tourist: Is there a table for 3? Waitress: Table for 3? (stare absentmindedly at a sheet of paper for 30 seconds) Tourist: Looks like it's a No? Waitress: No. Not a single word wasted! Food is solid and meaty. Nice decor. But won't revisit next time I'm in Dresden.
