The weisswurst was very tasty and came two in an order and served in a tasty broth with small veggies. It also came with a pretzel which is a great deal for 7€. The beer was tasty as well. The meatloaf is very dense and cut like a thick ham slice. On the salty side, this was well balanced with the sour cabbage and potatoes. We also ordered a side of beer sauce which is similar to a gravy and goes with meat dishes, not an accompaniment to the pretzels. The sauce tasted strongly of dark beer. Service was wonderful and we were checked on often by our server. Menus have English translations and it was nice to see a good mix of both Germans and foreigners here. Overall a great dining experience.
This place came recommenced to my by a colleague. I was not let down. Both the food and beer were excellent. The services was also great too! I also happened to be lucky to come in on Schnitzel Wednesday!
Phenomenal food and amazing beer. The service was great too. Honestly can't imagine my Germany trip without this meal. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.
I know the ball and browhouse watzke for the longest time, and the trunk house outside at the elbebogen in mickten. in the middle of the city center another watzke was accidentally found during a walk from the terassenufer on the elbe to the railway station. directly on the Dr.-Külz-Ring, not far from the old market, the Kreuzkirche and the crossing to the pragerstraße, you will find the spacious local rustic furniture. only a short look into the inner one, because with the most beautiful something, it was better to sit outside under the big sun umbrellas. there should be nothing to eat, although the menu promised some tempting. but a beer still goes unhungry. three sorts stand for the selection, we were four and therefore each tried a pilgrim, a special and a summer beer. the fourth in the band is not so on beer and took an aperol sprizz. tastefully flawless beer it was ribbed all around to taste everything, well cooled and served in a fleeting and friendly manner. prices for large-scale urban conditions surprisingly favorable. per half of the liter were 4,30 € due, small beer with 0.3 l cost 3,30 and for all thirst it becomes cheaper because the measure costs 7,90 €. the aperol is not exactly a bargain, but in comparison to other locals still inexpensive. when he goes back, we plan a nice lunch. after the map we offer garlic noodles, smoked trout, grillhaxe, steaks and schinitzel and the East German relic goldbroil.
Excellent environment (very friendly and fast) operation
