Sala Thai Sushi Bar - Dresden

We were craving some Thai food so I checked on-line and saw this restaurant listed on a Top 10 list. We dropped by after a little Dresden history...

The food is not fresh. The service is the worst or i should say there is no service. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Go somewhere else!

I myself and three workers visited before a week. we sat comfortably outside with a magnificent view of the cross church dresden. fortunately, with a wide road there was no parade of gawkers who leaned over us as they flowed through. instead there was a private, distant feeling. as we observed pedestrians pass in a convenient distance. the waitress was friendly, professional and spoke much English so that we can communicate our order (a lot better than a translate app.) the order was right and served in the right order: drinks, appetizers, suppening, main dishes with sufficient time between every article hot and fresh to enjoy. of the four have lived three of us in asia. two of us have visited/live several weeks in Thailand, with my co-worker being a prosumer level foodie. I lived in Thailand and am married to a Thai. we had a lot of dressed, and we all enjoyed our meals. was it authentic thai as they find 'd on a nakhon sawan night market? we were in dresden, Germany; be not silly. I would describe it rather than decent generic asian perhaps a cross between Thai, Vietnamese and South China's living means. the spring rollers were very good and well prepared. my other co-worker said they enjoyed the huhn satay. I had a bowl of tom yum gai that I really found bland. there was a hauch of tom yum paste, but I would describe it as watery. my main dish was stir fry pork with basilikum. that look more like a Chinese roast plate with a kind of thicker sauce, which was mixed in the cooking process with paprika and wobbles. it was very tasty, but not sharp at all (I like it more spicy.) I would order it again. my foodie co worker/friend ordered a stir fried noodle dish. while we were both a little surprised how the dishes looked (in contrast to drier, less sauce found in Thai iron), both enjoyed our eating. it was certainly a nice break organized by Italian and other European. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they brought us a big dish to share more than enough for all of us, and I eat a lot and much rice. at the end I think that this type of food adventures come to expectations. if you expect a meal that corresponds to what is served in blue elephant in bangkok, they will be disappointed. for those seeking an option for the fine European restaurants in dresden, singha offers a good atmosphere, a very good service and appetizing Asian dishes at affordable prices. we all agreed that we were in opposition.

We were in a hotel close to this restaurant and ate there late one afternoon. Service was good and the food was also good. We had a pu pu platter and soup. The price was reasonable, and the food was good. The prices were average,...not cheap eats, but good quiet atmosphere and tasty dishes
