Kutscherschanke - Dresden

I was originally attracted to the Kutscherschaenke because of its central location in the old town when I did not know how much of a gem it would be. The old fashion decoration creates a friendly and welcoming ambience, this is with a more modern menu that was a monthly burger rotation that was a real treat and made me feel that I had experienced something else the chance.

Very traditional, beautiful German place. Location is also perfect, the food is delicious, I would recommend ordering meat plate for 2 people. Make a reservation, the place is always full

When we were close and the first night we were here for dinner. Very appetizing food and friendly efficient service. Even if the terrace was packed, there were no delays with our orders thanks to the hard staff here

German food is delicious and this place does not make German food good. This restaurant is right at the main square with thousands of tourists passing every day, which means they don't have to try too hard. I ordered the mixed grill... that was described as sausage sausage is plural, which means that you are more than one, but you just one such menu description is wrong I have no idea what kind of sausage this was, but it was tasteless and very dry. The bacon could have been nice if it had been cooked crispy, but instead it was a flabby-flower fat. The roasted smoked pig had no smoke and was Blande. The pork medal was OK. The accompanying brat potatoes were cold and limp implicate that they were cooked some time before. The green beans and mushrooms could have been nice except they were in a very oily engraving... although it was an unpleasant platelet of food. My partner said he could say that his carving “ Cordon Bleu” was filled with cheese and ham because he could see it, but he couldn’t taste it and the whole carving was dry. The menu said it came with peas that had another lie as it came with carrots. The presentation of his meal was careless as it was just thrown on the plate. The service was fine, but the staff did not really have time for you as they are so busy....not even we were asked how our meal was. This place just feels very like “ pick her up, give them moderate food, get her money and get her out” Please don't eat here... You will be disappointed and have the wrong impression of German food.

Die Kutscherschänke liegt im direkten touristischen Gebiet. Trotzdem waren die Mitarbeiter nett und gastfreundlich. Wir könnten mit der Gruppe 6 Personen erst nicht draußen sitzen da dort nicht reserviert wurde. Das wär schade, denn das Wetter war sehr warm. Wir hatten schon Wochen zuvor reserviert. Wir haben rustikal im Restaurant gesessen und bürgerlich, reichhaltig gegessen. Die Portionen waren sehr groß, auch lecker.
