Contribuiți la feedbackWhat a rather strange but quite lovely evening my wife and I had here just a week ago. We have been travelling to Dresden from the U.K. each March for the last 10 years. It is a city that is special to us and one we...both love. Although we stay at the Kempinski hotel in the old centre of the town, we do try to catch a tram some days and travel out into the outlying districts of the old town. We first discovered Kleinerts last year when we walked around this lovely part of Dresden, discovered a local food market that weekend and decided to try this place that lies right next to the River Elbe. We enjoyed our lunch last year and decided to have lunch here again when we visited this month. It was a typical Dresden winters day. Very wet and pretty chilly. We were served by Mr. Kleinert and we both had a delicious creamy garlic soup with freshly baked bread. As it was raining hard we sat for an hour or so with a glass of red wine. We asked Mr.Kleinert if he served dinner in the evening and he said he did....so we decided to reserve a table for that evening. We returned by cab at 7.30 pm that evening to find that we were the only diners there....for the entire evening ! Sooo....we had our own personal chef and waitress !....a unique experience for the two of us and a first in 47 years of marriage. I had a delicious local rib-eye steak served with a jus, new potatoes and green beans. My wife ordered a local white fish with green vegetables. Both dishes were superb. We also tried a local German red wine The place was warm and cosy and we enjoyed our evening. We only wish there had been a few more people there to enjoy it too ! We intend to return next year.
I went with my work friends. . They told me it's the best food in Dresden. It is really a hidden gem .. the. Cook/owner is very passionate about his food and very hospitable. He made us feel that we were guests at his home.....Was really amazing.
Highly recommended. the menu is clear and very read. prices are o.k and appropriate. a small tip: please come only when they have time. here is not a place for the hectic, because all foods are freshly prepared. in a distance from the historical “Blue Miracles” and only 1 minute to the elbe and in one of the most beautiful residential areas of the dresden. with beautiful weather, about 20 outdoor places offer the right frame for a good espresso or finest food to Saxon cake.
A beautiful little place to sit longer. beautiful environment, friendly service. the crisp cake and the ice chocolate have tasted well. I did not use the ham and cheese sale, but it looked very appetizing.
Great exciting dishes perfectly cooked. Very nice staff. The restaurant itself is ideally located and is worth a visit Tip also to taste the homemade ice cream.
