Between our apartment and the Schlosshotel (which we wanted to book but was already booked with our room request) was the castle park. This should be open until dusk. Shortly before 19.00 we went on the way – the gate closed to the castle. Great! So all over the park. The park is shorter and much more beautiful. At the hotel, the VIP Shuttle Limousine was outside the door. We are not VIP – so we were not picked up. In the elegant fireplace room we were kindly received by the service staff and accompanied to the reserved table. Well, this place isn't a hit. Three two tables, on the edge of the room, our in the middle. Cosy is different. View from our table We asked if we could sit outside to the appetizer, later it would certainly be too cool for warm dishes. Sure, but there would be a bigger group expected and it could be restless. So we stayed inside. The oversized menus were opened. Who needs a reading glasses here almost has the blind dog. As a daily recommendation, there were oral Tagliatelle with fresh pifferlings. We gave a menu of wine and capital letters. If you don't want to get in touch with the table partner, you simply set up the card as a space separator. Our order was received very friendly and well trained by Mr. Solbach. We first order a bottle of mineral water. 0.75 l “Lightenauer” strike with sales-friendly € 6.90. 2 glasses of regional wine-growing wine, 0.1 l per € 4.60 – well drinkable, well cooled, but without really convincing us. Fresh dark baguette slices were served as “Great”. Tomato cream and butter. 1. Greeting There followed a nice bark with air-dried beef ham (I hope to have noticed it correctly). Nicely decorated, among others with forest master and bird marrow. 2. Greeting With fresh herbs, the kitchen already has plus points with me. On the attractive wine list we also found a local wine from the Hexamer winery. On holiday we wanted to drink “Saxon”. A beautifully fine-grained and finely spiced soup with lobster scissors. Sugar soup with lobster and vanilla cream Uncovered lobster scissors And then it was over with rest! The nearly 30 most important persons at the high age froze the room. I know a few bites, but this society was adequately supplied with itself and the need for a loud sense of validity. The plan of the seating arrangement was located in front of the T Förmig table. And just before that our opened wine bottle. Table order of other guests and our further wine episode: The silky and certainly clean cloths of the ladies knocked off the bottleneck in rows, the dominations hopefully had neither damp pronunciation nor any infect. It just disturbed me. I'm sensitive to such things. I can eat a bread at the barn, here I would have liked another placement of our wine. Place was there. I gave Mr. Solbach a wink to the wine, I think this wink went down in the volume of the company. But then the hotel simply has to dispense with 3 couples and dense the space as a “closed society”! In the adjoining rooms were a golden and a “fresh” wedding company. That was too much. Mr. Solbach responded very professionally to our complaint. He recommended to take a seat outside and offered a degistif. Inside we were still served on a slate table some Petite fours. We grabbed the slate board and our jackets without it was really too cool, nix like out. A sprout was lost on the run... leaks outside the world was fine again. Fresh air, tranquility, wonderful sweet and surprisingly refreshing delicacies. Herbs and Willi from the house And hardly to believe: The two couples of our side tables were also ruck zuck fled. Outside: Nice quiet! In the detailed evaluation, I cannot accommodate the most unfortunate evening of the holiday for us: It would be unfair to evaluate ambience or service badly. So I put the “Absolute Non-Friendly Factor” in the overall assessment. I'm sure our evening was a slipper. Carsten1972 had more luck in February this year and certainly his visit corresponds to the scale of the house. Toilets visited and absolutely well maintained and clean.
