Contribuiți la feedbackGeneral: On Sunday afternoon we had received tickets for the Comödie Dresden, and so we went together with Schwager and Schwägerin to Dresden. Since we were finished with our piece around 6:00, we wanted to go back to dinner, of course. Schwägerin wishes foreign specialties, and since I were already Russian with my wife recently, and were very convinced, we were looking for a Russian restaurant in Dresden. Four of them are available in Dresden, and we chose the “Odessa” just opposite the famous Dresdner Zwinger. So two days before, we ordered a table by phone, and so we had enough time from the comedy to the Odessa. Ambience: In the middle of the historic centre of Dresden, in the immediate vicinity of the famous baroque buildings Zwinger and Dresdner Schloss, as well as the Semperoper, the “Odessa” is housed in a multipurpose block built after the political turn. Not necessarily suitable for the area, but useful. Also in the interior, the new-mode look continues. The Odessa consists of a large guest room with adjacent kitchen. On the walls paintings that, in my opinion, do not fit into the Russian local. Wall painting in Russian style?? The lighting is realized with cool LED lights. At the entrance a laptop with a disco system where Russian radio stations are played via “Surfmusik”. Guest room with LED lighting and disco This unfortunately far too loud, so you could not have a reasonable and pleasant conversation. The ambience and volume reminded me of a bar for young people. As everywhere in city centers, parking is quite difficult and sometimes also quite expensive. Operation: A young, pretty lady, as well as a young man hosted the three occupied tables. After our entering, we were deliberately ignored, then finally gave us to understand that we can sit where we want. The young lady gave us the cards and disappeared to smoke with his colleague. That's how the service was all night. When the guests were quickly hosted, they disappeared outside to smoke, and watched the restaurant from outside through the windows. Service is something else, we almost felt disturbing. The food: I was able to convince my brother-in-law to enjoy a Baltika beer a ́3,20 €. But why the Baltika beer is presented in Erdinger Weizen-Gläsern, I don't quite understand. Baltika Beer in Erdinger Weizen-Glas My beloved and her sister each chose a Schoppen vom Sauvion for 5,50 € as well as a Bardol Chiare for 4,10 €. Sauvion and Bardol Chiare As an appetizer, we chose twice the Soljanka (a strong and spicy soup from different meats and salt cucumbers, served with black olives, lemon slice and smetana) for 4,80 € each and the Pelmeni in meat bouillon for 4,50 € each. As main dishes, my sister-in-law and my wreath wished the zharkoe (traditionally prepared pork with vegetables, served in a tonpot) a ́10,20 €, my brother-in-law dared to the pork carving po Odessky served with salad garnish with homemade frying potatoes for 10,40 € and my favorite served the beef medallions with sharp tomato sauce50 The appetizers were allowed to wait for half an hour, which speaks at least with the Pelmeni for a fresh preparation. The Soljanka (a strong and spicy soup made from different meats and salt cucumbers, served with black olives, lemon slice and smetana) was a disappointment for me. Thin sausage strips, stretched with potato slices and very thin sauce, with few black olives and nen Klecks cream. That's what's going on. Too bad. Soljanka (a strong and spicy soup made from different meats and salt cucumbers, served with black olives, lemon slice and smetana) The 8 Pelmeni in Fleischbouillon were really delicious. The noodle dough pleasantly soft, inside plentiful filled with well seasoned minced meat. The Boullion also beautiful spicy and hot. Pelmeni in Fleischbouillon When the main foods came to the table, I thought you'd like to join us. Zharkoe Zharkoe (traditionally prepared pork with vegetables, served in a tone pot) had rather the size of an appetizer. Zharkoe (traditionally prepared pork with vegetables, served in tone pot) A small clay pot filled with potatoes, paprika and pork pieces, the latter being clearly in the background. The potatoes pleasantly soft, the paprika unfortunately also. The pork is partly shiny and greasy. But it has not been enough to get tired. Luckily at least gave a soup before. pork carving po Odessky serves homemade roast potatoes with salad set The pork carving po Odessky served with salad set with homemade roast potatoes was thin and only provided with ovine. The panade greasy, the roast potatoes also greasy and very pale. No trace of onions or bacon. These were really only sliced potato columns, briefly fried in a lot of fat. Homemade is different. Rind medallions with sharp tomato sauce (marinated beef fillet, served on piquant spinach) with roasted potatoes Only the beef medallions with sharp tomato sauce (marinated beef fillet, served on piquant spinach) with roasted potatoes were reasonably enjoyable. Although the meat bean was clearly fried, it was still slightly juicy. Here again the fat, pale roast potatoes. To this end an undefined, definitely not sharp sauce in a peel. A small, fresh salad set rounded off the food. If that's Russian, I don't know. We've experienced that differently. Cleanliness: The toilets are in the basement and were clean. On the tablecloth a few small spots, here you should change the decoration in time. Result: Due to the location close to the center you will be more likely to be on tourists. We were not touched by the ambience or by the foods offered. The service was also miserable. We have experienced this much better, even with real Russians. Too bad.
Delicious! Nice atmosphere, great music, and tasty dinner for a good price. Would like to go back.
