Alte Muenze - Hilton Dresden

It was a rainy morning in dresden, so we decided to treat ourselves with a brunch in the hilton restaurant and were not disappointed. nice eating, generous portion and very efficient driving. every penny worth.

Ia a beautiful choice for meat and beer. very good service and high quality food. a little tighter table space.

To tell the truth, the food was average and the prices a bit on the high side, but I think that is to be expected considering that it is located on the Christmas market and the limited selection of restaurants there. the only saving gnade was the attentive and friendly staff.

This is a steikhouse, they should think steaks is their specificity, so we all order rumpsteik. it was not very tender. I ordered it to be medium, it was too **** and back. the wee was good, the cocktails weren't. I was just unhappy.

We went in due to the big signs on the Windows offering all day breakfast' we said this is what we wanted and were told we were too late (11am Insisted and were grudgingly given a table. On querying it again the excuse given...was that it was a summer thing' and they hadn't taken the signs down! 4 months to take signs down? I don't think so. As it turns out we shouldn't have bothered very average omelettes.
