Osteria Al Colovrat - Drenchia

My husband and I went there twice. The first time the restaurant was closed (it was a Tuesday). We came back on Friday (calling first to check id the restaurant is open) and it was worth it. As primi the nice lady served three types of pasta: spinach Spätzle with mountain cheese, gnocchi with cheese sauce (not gorgonzla) and gnocchi with pesto. Like always we've got parmesan cheese with the pasta. It was soo delicious, unbelievable. The parmesan cheese alone was the best, but the cheese sauce and the pesto were perfect. As secondi, pork chop and chicken cooked in the oven were served. The pork chop was the best we've had and the meat of the chicken peeled itself of the bone. It was a delight together with grilled potatoes and the best zucchini you can get. Between a mixed salad out of green salad and green beans with onions was served. The beans were soft and without any flaws. In the end it was a lot cheaper than we expected. The waitress did not have the best english language skills, but she makes up for them with effort. She was such a nice cute person.

I have been to this place a couple of tiimes with our broad family and never left dissapointed! A nice and friendly coulpe that speaks tipical local slovenian dialect always makes the best of their hospitality and food that it served is excellent. There is nothing like a menu to choose from but the landlady is keen on proposing you all that she has prepared for the day. During weekends reservations obligatory or you might leave hungry! :

Abbiamo trascorso alcuni giorni a Clabuzzaro in occasione della tappa del Tour d'Italia e abbiamo scoperto questa tradizionale taverna di campagna, dove abbiamo mangiato molto bene. La grande cortesia dei proprietari, i piatti di casa, semplici ma con ingredienti genuini, i prezzi davvero convenienti ci hanno fatto apprezzare ancora di più il bellissimo paesaggio che si può ammirare dalla terrazza della camera. Torneremo sicuramente! Grazie Beatrice e Renato, ci siamo trovati benissimo nella vostra azienda.

Un posto meraviglioso dove tornare a mangiare, con una bellissima e tranquilla vista.
