Contribuiți la feedbackWe tried most pizzas and they were all good. the chicken wings for an appetizer were incredible and came with some fresno chili’s that were a really good supplement. they give them enough to keep their pizzas and dress them.
Oak wood fire kitchen was really good. I have the pepperoni pizza. they give generous amounts of pfefferschoten and the paprikas are very large. it made for a delicious pizza. I also enjoyed the fires that had a beautiful Cajun spice. the restaurant was incredibly loud and was hard to hear as they put the tables so close together and it is a small space.
Mixed feelings about OAK Wood fire kitchen. The service is mediocre at best. They take a long time to seat you even when you?ve made a reservation and even after that they took extra long to wait on us and they seemed disinterested. That being said, the first time I went here I got a pasta dish and it was terrible. Im sorry to say that but it was. The sauce had absolutely zero flavor and I had to add so much salt just to pull something out of it. The beef in it was good but still not worth it. And it was watered down like crazy. It might as well have been soup. The second time I came here I got the elote pizza and loved it. So yummy and fresh and nice flavors. The crust was also delicious. Each time I?ve gone, friends have ordered well. The chicken pot pie is delicious and takes a nice spin on the traditional dish with a puff pastry. And the prosciutto and arugula pizza is also delicious.
I have some mixed feelings. This was my first time here and was immediately impressed with the ambiance and menu of this restaurant. The hostess was nice and sat us immediately. Our server on the other hand seemed annoyed to be there and was just not on her game. She took our street corn from our table before we finished it. She also took my diet coke to refill it and only brought it back when my husband reminded her that I'd paid for a drink. I also wasn't super impressed with the food. The street corn was delicious. My husband had the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and I had the BBQ chicken pizza and bread pudding. The fries were so squishy. The chicken sandwich was incredibly wet because there was a ton of sauce and wet slaw on it. He said the chicken was crispy though and he liked the flavor a lot. The pizza was good. A nice twist on the classic with the sauce being sweet and using pickled onions. But the crust was so hard to chew. My jaw was physically exhausted from eating this pizza leather. The bread pudding was nice, but sooo dense. The food also sits so heavily in your stomach after eating. We didn't finish anything and were both busting after eating half of our entrees. I'm not sure why the food is so heavy because reading the descriptions they don't seem like they would be. Overall I wouldn't avoid this place but I also don't know if it's something I'll crave or go to again. It's a real shame too because it is such a cute place. It was also expensive. 2 drinks, appetizer, two entrees and dessert set us back almost $80 after tip.
Went for the first time to this local wood fired kitchen. Really fun vibe that would be perfect for a fun night out with friends or with a date. There are big tables to seat larger parties. Food was solid. Started off with the cheese curds which were my favorite of the night. My husband got the chicken pot pie and I got the arugula prosciutto pizza. His pot pie was a winner and I?ll probably get that if we go again. Pizza crust was so flavorful and soft. Although the food was super good, the service was lacking. The host was very friendly but it was clear our waitress wanted us out of there as quickly as possible. She barely spoke a word to us and just did not seem happy to be there at all. Wasn?t super packed but it was also a Monday night.
