El Criollo - Dracut

Food and drinks are great here! Best mofongo around! Many people in reviews say it's pricy but I think they don't realize tip is included in the bill. I didn't feel the price is too much for quality and and what you get!

If you've never been to Puerto Rico, then this is your chance to get away and taste true authentic puerto rican cuisine. If you're from the island, then welcome back home!I too read their reviews before going there and after reading so many positive reviews we had to give it a try for ourselves.Seriously, we were sold at first bite. Senairy (our bartender server) made our first experience an amazing one. She's a master at her craft and makes amazing authentic Puerto Rican drinks and of course provides service with a smile. Be sure to ask for her and see for yourself.Dariel is the owner and he's also the chef at El Criollo, so you know he puts his heart and soul into each dish he prepares for you.So, no need to book a flight hotel to get a taste of Puerto Rico when all you have to do is drive to Dracut and visit El Criollo!You're welcome! :)Parking: More parking in the back.

Ok, waitress was nice, setting was nice. Bill. HORRIBLE. 2 patron margaritas $38 in Dracut Massachusetts. So essentially, I paid $11 for a patron “shot”, then $8 for a margarita which made no sense to me. So the tab showed me paying for 4 items when I only ordered two drinks. Go to downtown Lowell where the same drinks would be 50% less. I wanted to support this establishment, not anymore

We made it to El Criollo after reading the others reviews. We are so glad we did. The food was very good. As closed to the one I would get in Puerto Rico compared to the other restaurants we've tried here in MA. The staff was great. All the suggestion they made were right on. We are definitely coming back for some more delicious food.
