A-brews Tap Grill - Dracut

Last night was about the best night that we had there. Everybody was talking to everybody people getting up and doing karaoke making friends you know it was great It was the liveliest nights there in a very long time so it was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it.

Average pub fare. The coconut shrimp were left in the deep fryer too long. They were hard as rocks, potatoe skins the same, all dried out ...extra charge for a tiny nappy of sour cream. Asked for salt and pepper and the waitress had to go on an excursion to find it. One waitress actually waiting on us and a second one, just minutes behind duplicating her service. It was kind of strange to have to keep telling the second girl thanks, but we just ordered.. first, our drinks, then our apps, or that the other girl just handled whatever stage we were at. Maybe an off day.. but not the best experience.

Burgers here are great, they have a version of a smash burger that really hits the spot. Highly recommended. Wish the beer prices were a little more reasonable but it is what it is.

Canadian poutine, finally. I’m from Montreal, Canada and I’ve been looking for an authentic poutine for years. Tonight I was finally reunited with my true love thank you A-Brews

Stopped by after getting our nails done at our favorite place. Bartender was nice and food wasn’t bad. The restaurant at first smelt clean but it was trying to cover over the horrible smell of cigarettes. Beers on draft were just typical beers. The worst part was the cook that was screaming about, “Who orders steak and cheese with no cheese?” and how he couldn’t trust people who don’t have cheese on their sandwiches. I left out the swears. I ordered a CBC chicken sandwich … which came to me as a wrap. Wasn’t bad but wasn’t what I ordered. My friend ordered chicken with the sauce on the side and it was on the chicken. The inside is nicely decorated and clean but for the atmosphere with the smell and cook, I wouldn’t go back.
