Water Wheel Tavern - DOYLESTOWN

Have not been to this restaurant for many years. We had a wonderful server named Dave. His knowledge of the restaurant and food selections were outstanding. Can 't say enough about him. My husband had the fish n chips he traded up to the sweet potato fries ' I had the airline chicken it was excellent.

Four of us had dinner. Three meals were great. One person had the beef, it was a special. It was so tough it was hard to cut it with a steak knife. Disappointing but overall I will eat there again. Waitress said she would tell the kitchen, whatever that's worth.

We were seated in the main dining room as soon as we arrived for our Sunday brunch. Our server asked us immediately what we wanted to drink. our food arrived in a very timely manner and exactly as we ordered it. 3 of the meals were quite good, but the 3 egg omelette was a bit dry. must say our server(s) were on top of their game.

Came here and got the crab bisque soup. Amazing ! Had Ella as a server she was super helpful with the menu and supper helpful. Great place

Service was good as it almost always is. Unfortunately, the food was not up to expectations. We had a special of baby back ribs with macaroni and cheese. The ribs were weird in that they had a lot of stuff that was not bone. The mac and cheese was not a bowl of mac and cheese but a fried mac and cheese. Not what was expected, and they were not good. The crab bisque was good but not hot. Kudos for the sweet potato fries. But, overall, we were very disappointed with the food, and we are not likely to return.
