Farmhouse Coffee - Downingtown

I waited nearly three years for the agriturismo to open, and it was definitely worth the wait! Pete and Dana Petrizzio have transformed a neglected former Laundromat and newspaper stand into a charming, airy, and bright gem of a restaurant. As someone who has met many wonderful people at the Agriturismo, I can say we’ve needed a place like this for a long time. I’m a tea drinker (and I appreciate that every pot is brewed individually), so I can’t speak to the coffee, but I haven’t seen anyone leave with half-filled cups! The pastries, freshly baked by Dana, are delicious. The blueberry orchard muffins are fantastic, and the egg in a blanket is the perfect way to start your day. Most importantly, this is a hometown business that stands head and shoulders above anything you can get from a chain.

I’ve never visited your coffee shop, but I feel a strong connection to it because of Gabe. Dr. Tony Miller is my grandson, and he really enjoys your place. The next time we’re in the area, we’ll definitely make a stop.

What a fantastic spot! The coffee is excellent, and the pastries are even more delicious! We're definitely going to make this our go-to place. I just wish they stayed open later.

Agriturismo is our new favorite Saturday morning stop! The quality of coffee is obvious, and its whole bagel scenes are like small slices of the sky. The staff is friendly and the owner is super sweet! Not to mention their pumpkin beds to shame the PSLs at Starbucks.

The farmhouse has achieved a title beyond coffee house . The coffee is brewed to perfection and they have a bunch of tasty treats including everything bagel scones- flaky scones made with all of the ingredients from an everything bagel and stuffed with cream cheese- brilliant and so delicious! The inside is gorgeous with exposed wooden beams and a homey feel, almost like a cabin in the woods. It 's truly a place for people of all generations to gather and I think it will only strengthen the already strong community of Downingtown. I feel blessed to have this place in my neighborhood!
