Sushi House - Downers Grove

Server was very nice, i have a service dog and the manager told me “unless your blind your service dog has to sit on the patio outside” which is illegal to say. The owner let me stay inside but no apology is given.

Great experience made us feel at home right as we walked thru the door will definitely be back.

I have been to a different Sushi House location I enjoy so thought I would give this location a try. This menu was different and had less vegetarian options but thought that was okay. What was not okay was the server packing our food at the table ended up spilling the food on me. An accident is an accident, but he actually attempted to blame me for it, didn't apologize, had no intention of either removing/discounted the food item from the bill or replacing the food that was now in my hair, lap, and floor. He also was clearly upset when we brought up receiving replacement of the portion that was spilled and proceeded to speak about our table to his co-workers very obviously and rudely. Never coming here again due to the bad experience.

I'm delighted with this place, I was passing by and stopped in for dinner. Very tasty rolls names “Best west “ and sushi eel and salmon, the fish is very fresh. I would definitely come back here, price plus quality, decent friendly staff, and plus it’s very tasty. cozy atmosphere, music playing ?

The best sushi in town if you're a connoisseur. The maguro toro was outstanding (fresh special). The ika sansai salad was also fabulous. Kid-friendliness: It's a kid friendly atmosphere. They have always been gracious with my kids.
