Contribuiți la feedbackOur first time trying Eastern European food and this was a great experience. Staff was friendly and the menu was very diverse. Slightly veg friendly as there were 2-3 appetizers and entrees that contained no meat, for those wondering. Parking: Parking directly in front of restaurant. We drove a half an hour to this restaurant because my husband wanted beef stroganoff. Surprisingly it is hard to find that on restaurant menus without going into the city or downtown. I was at the previous location years ago and remembered it was very good. The beef stroganoff did not seem to have mushrooms which was fine for him because he doesn’t really like them. He had it served with spaetzle and really enjoyed it. It came with a good sized salad. I had the Lithuanian platter. Absolutely delicious! What a nice selection, the little pork dumplings were wonderful. The potato pancake was unlike anything I have ever had. The sauerkraut was the best I have ever had. I’d love to be able to make it as good. Portions were large enough for two good sized meals. There was a nice variety of items on the menu and I was surprised to see dishes I thought were Romanian on the menu like mititei and mamaliga. We also got a bread basket with some Eastern European breads. The service was just right, friendly but not too intrusive. I liked the atmosphere better than the previous place, brighter and more modern. Not crazy about all of the TV sets, so many in the dining area, but that seems to be a thing these days. The food was absolutely delicious! I got the Lithuanian combo and others in my party created their own combo. My goal was to get the most uniquely Lithuanian dishes. Kugelis and Lithuanian sausage were two items from the Lithuanian combo I had not had before and they were great! The service was okay. On Sunday afternoon and many tables were still open yet service was slow. It could be because there were some larger groups (not sure if this was usual or just that week). Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Borshch, Lithuanian Combo Plate, Kugelis
