Roma Italian - Dover

This is a great place for a group lunch or dinner; we had a large crowd in the event room. However, the ceiling doesn’t do a great job at absorbing sound, so it was quite noisy and difficult to hold a conversation. On the bright side, the food was very good. I arrived a little late and missed the bruschetta appetizer (which looked great) and opted for the salad, lasagna, and a taste of the chicken marsala. The salad was the typical pre-packaged greens (which I find quite bland), but that seems to be the standard in the US, so I can’t complain too much. The chicken was also somewhat plain, but the lasagna was outstanding. I can be quite picky about lasagna, even though I'm as passionate about it as Garfield the Cat. Often, lasagna is just a soggy mix of ricotta and tomato sauce with little flavor, but this one featured small sausage meatballs and a flavorful tomato sauce, without being overwhelmed by a heavy layer of hard-to-digest mozzarella. The desserts appeared to be store-bought, but they were still quite good—classic options like cheesecake, carrot cake, and a chocolate cake that vanished quickly. Honestly, I wish I had skipped dessert to indulge in more of that lasagna; it was truly delicious. If I return with friends instead of for a large party, I’m pretty sure I’ll be ordering that lasagna again.

Sul Tempo in Dover truly surpassed my expectations! The service was impeccable, the ambiance delightful, and the cuisine exquisite, making it a real gem. Each dish showcased a perfect balance of flavors, and the attention to detail was impressive. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Sul Tempo in Dover is a culinary treasure that certainly deserves a full 5-star rating!

I just visited for drinks and had always wanted to try this place. It's a charming spot, a bit dimly lit but that's fitting for a lounge atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and checked on us frequently.

Try a drink , any drink and it will be wonderful , I have one Martini and YUM ! An Espresso Martini and sharing a Cheese plate with friends is sometimes what the Dr. ordered !!!! Even when I am not drinking , they dress up my drink to look more festive ! 5 stars !

Absolutely Awesome!!! Patrick Alan were a Joy! They were both pleasant, knowledgable, Professional, fun-loving and made our trip back to Delaware Memorable. The ambiance was very intimate, classy and warm. This will definitely be my choice for a great time in the near future. Don 't Let this Gem Getaway Everyone . You will be extremely pleased with the service.
