Oriental Delight - Dover

Was delighted to try the food on the basis of reviews, but was very disappointed. order the tonkatsu and get a small pork fillet on chopped salat. I thought it would come with a small side of white rice or something like literally everywhere else I ordered katsu, but for $13 they get what is in the round a little brot boar stable.

We have been to many Asian places and this one is one of the best. The food is terrific there. We ordered both a Chinese dish and a few sushi rolls and they were all delicious. The staff was very friendly and polite. The restaurant was not crowded in early Saturday afternoon. Highly recommended.

It was a very chilly Valentines day, and my partner and went to explore downtown Dover for a nice Valentines Day lunch... and we succeeded in our quest. We were a little early for lunch, so there was a nice selection of seating to chose from... and finding a sunny spot by the window just made it that much more special. The staff were polite and not overbearing very professional, answering a few questions regarding the menu. I do wish that they were a little more knowledgeable when it comes to ingredients and GF intolerance. We started out with sharing a wonderful bowl of bean curd with vegetables soup which helped overcome the days chilly weather. Then onto our main course, Len had the chicken and shrimp Tepanyaki which comes out on a very dramatic sizzling platter. He thoroughly enjoyed every morsel. I ordered a combo plate of various sushi and I found it quite nice all around presentation, amount, etc. There were a number of Valentines day couples there and the atmosphere had a sense of happiness added by the delightful of Oriental Delight.

Love this restaurant! If you enjoy spicy food, make sure to get the House Spicy Chicken Wings, they're the best!
