Newick's Lobster House - Dover

We set out to find some seafood among the tourist restaurants and ended up at Newicks, thanks to a local recommendation. It was a fantastic choice! The food was excellent, featuring lobster, a lobster-stuffed shell, lobster stew, and shrimp cocktail. The atmosphere was definitely more casual, complemented by beautiful views. I would absolutely come back again!

This is a delightful restaurant in New England. They offer incredibly fresh and delicious seafood, and the location right on the water is a huge plus. The windows extend along the exterior walls, providing beautiful views from any table. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible, making it easy for everyone, whether you're using a stroller or a wheelchair like I do. The parking area is on the same level as the restaurant, so there's no step to navigate, and parking is free. Plus, there are spots available as close as 10 feet from the entrance!

I've loved this place since I was 10 years old (58 years ago)! Today, our waitress, Queen B, was excellent—friendly and upbeat! In our group of four, we all praised the stew, which was amazing, alongside the chowder, wobble rings, original lobster roll, fried sea scallops, fried bay scallops, and the clams.

No longer able to give sage advice; Children look to friends and cell phones and that, where things start to go? Whoever goes here more than once does it again. It can become the habit. A good; always welcome. You can't beat the atmosphere. People are great. A friendly place to relax and eat and review my art while you wait for your food?! Haha. Good.

I remember this place as a kid. It was always busy and the gift shop was great, now gone. It was a special treat. The food is still as good as it was, although the menu is much smaller. Classic seafood joint fried boiled and baked with chowder and other offerings. The yawning empty space definitely takes the shine off and makes me remember days coming with my Dad and grandparents when it was packed! It's certainly not what it was but it's the best example of some decent classic New England seafood for a reasonable price I know of in the area. The service was very good and everything was a slice of memories with great people.
