Bavarian Bakery And Deli - Dover

I ordered a half sheet cake and a large sandwich platter for my daughter’s confirmation party. I trusted the reviews of my coworkers...and I was NOT disappointed! Everyone loved the sandwiches and the half vanilla/half chocolate cake with buttercream icing was so moist and delicious!!! It was decorated exactly as I wanted.. just beautiful. All my guests raved!! Thanks Bavarian Bakery!!

Noticing lately that cakes coconut and chocolate cake) are dry and the chocolate had no taste. The coconut that I bought yesterday had almost no cake, it was frosting mostly. Had to throw them away. Please, take this as a positive feedback I want to keep buying from your bakery.

The people are so sweet that work there! They remember you and what you like. The food and Sweets they have is delicious! The tiramisu is a must try and the macaroons are delicious. Get those early in the day cause they always sell out!

My high rating is because the food and cake were excellent. However, the staff seem robotic and non social. I told the person taking my order that it was my first visit in hopes she'd kind of present sandwich suggestions, but nope! The place is tiny, so why not put up signs to tell you where to order, and place the deli menu in plain view for patrons. The lack of good customer service is my only complaint. Needs improvement!
