I was surprised by the small and quirky interior of this restaurant. Although I enjoyed the drinks, it seemed like they weren't too happy about our dogs being there, so we decided to leave after a drink. Overall, it's a great place to visit with prices ranging from £10 to £20 per person. I would rate the food a 5, service a 4, and atmosphere a 4.
Loving the eclectic style and vibe. The cooper whisperer Lady that spoilt our pooch . Very friendly experienced chatty staff. Definitely an experience of a gastro pub lunch. Roast had super depth of flavours, not much meat small little slices of perfect cooked beef. Think our food went to another table they didn't order pigs in blankets) hence 4 stars also was a tad on the expensive side for a roast. The entry level red and white wine, vin du pay herault where good value and tasty £24. Ps roast has gone up £10 quid since last year . £55 quid per head. But as you know fuel food wages have all increased. Makes hospitality tough.
A beautiful pub and possibly the best Sunday lunch we’ve had. Even better than the Hawksmoor! Friendly service and a wonderful peaceful spot. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sunday Roast Beef
This charming pub, located near the Kent coast, has been modernized while still maintaining its traditional 17th-century charm. The rooms are clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, and there is a beautiful garden in the back. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the landlord, Andy, has paid close attention to detail, with some fantastic artwork throughout the pub. Make sure to try some of the locally sourced food and mingle with the friendly locals. Don't miss out on trying the cider with Rosie. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I will definitely be visiting again.
