Good Choice - Dover

I ordered food for takeout from this restaurant and it was ready on time, but when I got home, one item was missing. I called the restaurant and they said they could cook the missing item and send it to us. I tried to explain that most of the food was cold, but they insisted I could eat the food without the missing item and have the item later. I explained again that the food was cold, but they said I could return all the food for a refund. However, they then said I couldn't get a refund because we had already served the food, even though we hadn't eaten it. They claimed the food was cold because it was cold outside and my partner collected it without a bag to keep it hot. However, we live close by and one item in the bag was still hot. In the past, we've had good experiences with this restaurant even in colder weather, but this time the quality of the food was poor and the service was disappointing. It's a shame because this restaurant was always our first choice, but now we're not likely to return.

I ordered food through Uber and it arrived late and barely warm. When I opened the container, I realized that the curry had no sauce, just a mixture of meats and spices. I had to go to the restaurant to get my curry replaced. It was not the experience I was hoping for.

I recently got takeout from this restaurant. We placed our order and waited outside for a short time until it was ready. The dishes we had were tasty and affordable, but the area is not very nice.

Mixed feelings really. The food was amazing but the service was terrible. We were told an hour for delivery and over two hours later we got our food after 3 telephone calls to them, very rude ok the phone. What I will say is the food was absolutely amazing. My advice if you order from here don’t expect good service, make sure you don’t need an early night as you’ll be up late waiting for your dinner .

I have ordered every single week for years and tonight because they forgot the rice I ordered and I phoned and asked for it to be delivered, I was told that I didn't order it and then they would send another one that I would have to pay for as I wasn't charged for as part of my order which wasn't a problem) but couldn't pay by card which I always do, I asked if I could have my curry replaced as this would be cold by the time my missed order, she said that I would have to give the other one back again which wasn't a problem) but then she started to say that I was lying and just to give her my card details. Her customer service skills where alot to be desired and her attitude was definitely rude. To the point where I told her that I would never order from them again !!!
