Stateline And Grill - Dove Creek

Whenever we’re out exploring new places, we always make a point to stop for a meal at the stateline. The food is absolutely fantastic! Don’t underestimate the high quality of the dishes served in this charming restaurant and bar. It’s bound to make it onto a top-secret list… I promise!

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Inside, it had a delightful sense of humor and friendliness, which is why I ended up taking so many photos. After such a wonderful meal, I chose to stay at the RV Park next to the restaurant for a while. The sites had full hookups and were level, providing a nice respite from driving, conveniently located between the "Welcome to Colorado" and "Welcome to Utah" signs on Highway 491 in Dove Creek, CO. The star gazing from my RV spot was an added bonus, with a vast sky free from city lights.

Such amazing burgers! I cannot recommend it enough. In fact we asked to take a menu back to the Monticello Liquor Store so we could recommend them to our customers.

Overall, the food was fantastic! The service was great as well. The creamy fettuccine was the best I've ever had, and the large ribeye and chicken fried steak were excellent. My only suggestion is that they should make their mashed potatoes from scratch instead of using instant, and perhaps they could ease up on the toppings for their baked potatoes, which are overloaded with cheese, sour cream, and bacon bits like many other restaurants do. Additionally, $8 for the mac and cheese seemed a bit pricey, but I still highly recommend this restaurant. Our server was also very kind and attentive.
