Waffle House - Douglasville

I always look forward to visiting a Waffle House, and I truly enjoyed every moment there—it was delicious! My wife and I were attended to hand and foot by the incredibly friendly staff. The waffles with blueberry nuggets reminded me of my favorite blueberry muffins, but they were lighter and fluffier. Everything tasted fresh, and my drink was never empty. The staff worked together like a well-oiled machine, and they genuinely seemed happy to be there, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

Usually, if I find myself alone in a chain restaurant, I tend to be cautious. However, our experience was wonderful—our food arrived quickly, was fresh, hot, and delicious, just what we needed after a busy week. As a bonus, we both left happy and satisfied for under $20!

They get 1 star because I can't give zero or negative. This was the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. We sat down and would you believe it—a bug crawled across the table, which the waiter saw while I was trying to get rid of it. I barely took three bites from my bowl before that. My friend ordered two cookies, and one of them had a beetle on it. At that point, we were done. All we wanted was to have the bug charge removed from the bill. Not only did they overcharge us, but they tried to charge us for the full meal. I don't want to say I won't come back, but I really hope they fire the waiter because he was awful.

Food was undercooked forgot drinks. I was finally given mine but my girlfriend never received hers. Her biscuits and gravy was under cooked and my food was under cooked as well.Not stopping by this one again.

Went here for lunch recently. Seemed like a lot of new staff working here. My bill was $13 even. Paid with my card, left a $2 tip, and wrote the total on the receipt. Next thing I know my card is charged $20 even. They changed the tip from $2 to $7. Be careful when paying with a credit card at this location.
