The Vine Cafe Market - Douglasville

This place is incredible! The food was fresh and delicious. I usually don't finish everything on my plate, but I did this time and even ordered a turkey burger to take home! What I love about this restaurant is that they showcase products from local entrepreneurs for sale. I picked up a few items to show my support. The atmosphere is so inviting that you just want to stay all day! I officially consider it one of my favorite spots to dine. I would give them a 5-star rating, but Google only lets me give them 4.5 stars for some reason!

We ordered the Impossible Burger Combo with vegan cheese. The burgers were quite good, but my fries were overly salty for my taste. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, and it was very clean. The staff were friendly as well. However, I rated them 3 stars due to the misleading online classification as a vegan restaurant and the long wait time for our food. It took over 30 minutes to receive our order of two burgers and fries, despite there only being six other customers, all of whom had already received their meals. I even had to approach the counter to inquire about the delay. The young man at the register checked in with the kitchen, but our food was already sitting on the counter – I had to point that out to him. Normally, they bring the food to your table, but I ended up carrying our plates to our table myself since he handed them to me at the counter. While we were pleased to finally receive our meals, we believe that the restaurant would benefit from improving the speed of their food preparation. The restaurant responded by saying that better ingredients can enhance the flavor, but it shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes to prepare a pre-made Impossible Burger patty and fries. This isn’t a complicated dish; it’s simply two prepared burgers with some toppings on a bun. Excuses for delays might be more acceptable for dishes with many components, but not for a burger and fries.

The Vine was a beautiful vintage but chic place. I couldn't try the wine, but the quinoa dish was delicious. We added grilled chicken to the dishes that added additional taste. This place got 4 stars because they're kind of slow, waited about 30 minutes before we got our food and there was no one in there. Apart from that, eating is a great place for a healthy option.

Nice local spot to grab lunch and or a light meal. Their menu is eclectic ranging from salads to curry to chicken and waffles. Staff are personable, flexible and accommodating. Food is ok. Desserts are good. I do like the fact they have a health conscious attitude towards food so they offer entrée and beverage options consisting of natural ingredients. Pricing is reasonable. Atmosphere is causal relax. On street parking available along the strip. Plenty of indoor seating for its footprint.

The Vine offers a lovely blend of vintage charm and modern chic decor. While I didn’t have the chance to sample the wine, the quinoa bowl I ordered was absolutely delicious. We opted to add grilled chicken, which enhanced the flavor nicely. I gave this restaurant 4 stars mainly due to the service; we had to wait about 30 minutes for our food, and the restaurant wasn’t even busy at the time. Aside from that, it’s a fantastic spot for a healthy meal.
