Slicers Deli - Douglassville

I would never choose anything other than their tomato pie. It has been a staple at all our family gatherings. The flavor has remained consistent for the 20+ years I've been enjoying their pies. They also offer amazing and delicious desserts, along with other tasty dishes.

This restaurant offers more than just delicious tomato pie; their hoagies are excellent too. My sandwich was made to order, and the service was very friendly. Compared to the gas station across the street that starts with a "W" and ends with an "A," this place actually has flavorful food. Their tomatoes are ripe, the lettuce isn’t all clumped together, and I didn’t feel like just another cog in an assembly line. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know, and I believe it should be used as a model for training aspiring entrepreneurs on how to run a business properly.

The food here is outstanding, but the owner can be quite difficult to deal with. I prefer going to the Limerick location because the staff there are much friendlier. Recently, I called to order some sandwiches, and the owner told me there was a long line out the door and that I needed to come in and wait; his tone was rather dismissive. So, I decided to get my sandwiches from Olivieros instead. However, we drove past the store on our way to the other location, and just five minutes after my call, there was suddenly no one in sight—it looked completely closed.

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had! The meat and cheese are both top-notch and incredibly fresh.

They serve the finest hoagies and tomato pie. The staff is extremely friendly as well.
