Brasserie de la ville

We eat regularly in doue la fontaine, but this was our first visit in this restaurant. portions were small, menu is limited, location is not fragile. we are still hungry and it is the most expensive meal of this holiday so disappointed

We were hungry and it was the wrong time to eat in france (we will get it right on a day! typical French bar, eat all day. lady behind the bar has brought us into the salon, has ordered drinks. service was fast, we ordered from the...Set menu €14. starter arrived and were ok. main course came, a piece dark grilled meat with crumble along with mixed watery obviously frozen lukewarm veg. the kartoffels looked promising, but no, they were out of the freezer and also warm and tasteless. pudding time my sister favorites ile flante (there was only one left, so I had chocolate mousses yes they have guessed it frozen! still ice crystals in what we think was meringue. ok good points, nice bar, a bit fayed but pleasant enough. the facilities were clean and modern. bier was good and lovely Dalmatian dog they arrived as they were. would go back and drink, but avoid eating unless they have no taste buds!

The plat de jour had been described as roast chicken with chips. at the arrival, the plate floated in a yellow sauce and the chicken itself was just on the polite side of the frozen. my entrecotesteak was bad and the bleu sauce consisted of a piece of cheese that was melted in milk. Finally, the chicken after hating was substituted with an omelette. to remember a night; as never return. d d g j’town

There is not much in doue la fountaine and we went around and tried to find somewhere to lunch after visiting the nearby troglodytic places. the place was quiet, good, at least inside. out there were a series of people obviously on their lunch break. there were many...heartedly on board and the court of the day sounded good a beef stew when I remembered correctly. many workers at lunch had that. because it was a hot day, we ordered salate instead. my salad from duck-gun and ham was perfect good, and a beautiful apricot-tart dessert. the tart was also at home. great value, good food and a friendly waitress. what else to ask?

Nous sommes allés déjeuner ici par défaut, voulant éviter le Macdo d'après festival... on aura mieux fait de passer notre chemin !La maîtresse de maison est exécrable, vous prenant de haut, refusant de cuire une seule pizza (je cite : "j'allume pas le four pour rien !"), m'arrachant ma carte des mains pour utiliser le sans-contact sans mon accord... J'ai pris une entrecôte, je l'avais demandée saignante, elle arrive bien trop cuite (mais il fallait bien ça vu la qualité de la viande...) avec une sauce roquefort qui consiste à un morceau de fromage non fondu dans un bol de lait.Je passerai volontairement sur la carafe d'eau sale...Certes, c'est pas cher, mais ça l'est bien trop vu le service et la cuisine. À fuir absolument, le jeûne a du bon parfois.
