Kings Dominion - Doswell

Kings Dominion has great rides, a fun atmosphere, and amazing food! Unfortunately in the past year, theft has become a major issue in the park. Things like drink cups, shoes, and clothing are routinely stolen while guests are on rides or in the waterpark. It is recommended to rent a locker or keep valuables on you as much as possible. Unfortunately, recently even lockers are being broken into or people are stealing locker codes to gain access to other people’s personal belongings. While the park itself is not to blame, this certainly takes away from the enjoyment of the park. I have been a season pass holder for over 10 years, and I have never seen it quite this bad. Just a little word of caution and a bit of reality for those planning to visit.

We had an explosion! we went on Monday and there were no lines! the new jungle fitness room in the water park was much fun! the show was amazing! we really enjoyed our day. we will definitely visit again. there are 2 large fall knits. they do not accept any money that is ridiculous, and parking is too expensive at $25 per car.

Kings dominion is an excellent park in the cedar fair chain. standout rides like intimidator 305 and twisted timbers are world-class! they have classic wood coasters and a beautiful selection of flat rides. the park is very clean and they can say that they have worked to update certain areas and fresh with the installation of their latest free spin.

A nice fun experience, alone, with someone or your family, much better price if you buy online beforehand and the golden pass is more convenient if you want to go more than once for example for Halloween or some other occasion. Convenient to included the drink on the input value. The wave pool closes at 5 so schedule your visit so you can enjoy some time on there and in the water games that are very fun if you go with the small children it has pool for them too. The lockers are rented and the price according to the size there is a discount with the golden pass. There is not much public in weekdays. I have gone Monday and I did not wait long to enter to the games.

Good fun, great rides. But the staff is undertrained. Was told multiple incorrect things about the daily dining pass. Staff at restaurants we're painful to watch and incredibly slow. Ride staff were not well drilled on how to unload and reload rides. Made for longer waits. Maybe it was simply a function of being early in the season. Hope it gets better.
